Manager, HR Research & Advisory Services, McLean & Company
James is a Manager on the HR Research & Advisory Services team at McLean & Company. James’ areas of expertise include HR metrics and people analytics. He has a passion for using data to uncover insights and guide organizations toward HR best practices, and he uses his expertise in the creation and development of McLean & Company’s HR Trends reports and Thought Leadership research.
Prior to this role at McLean & Company, he worked in the public services sector where he provided support to a provincial government’s labor relations and compensation functions. James also has experience conducting academic research in organizational behavior and has authored papers on topics including leadership, collaboration, and organizational networks.
James holds a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources as well as an Honors Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Toronto.
Senior Analyst, HR Research & Advisory Services, McLean & Company
Fallan is a Senior Analyst on the HR Research & Advisory Services team at McLean & Company. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice and leveraging data to help organizations make informed decisions that drive success. Her areas of interest include HR strategy and talent management.
Prior to joining McLean & Company, Fallan worked in human resources within the retail industry where she gained experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations, and data management.
Fallan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behavior from McMaster University, a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior from Toronto Metropolitan University, and an HR Analytics Certificate from Cornell University.
Practice Lead, HR Research & Advisory Services, McLean & Company
Will is a Director, HR Research & Advisory Services with McLean & Company. Will is passionate about driving organizational success using HR technology, data and analytics, and uncovering and communicating the people trends affecting organizations and employees. He leads research publications, including McLean’s annual HR Trends Report, and supports McLean members in achieving their goals by applying the research through advisory calls and group facilitation.
Prior to joining McLean & Company in 2017, Will supported qualitative research at the post-secondary level, managing a Canada Research Chair Program-funded research lab to train and support researchers across fields at the University of Prince Edward Island on qualitative data analysis using a variety of technologies. Will also has a background in the education sector, and exposure to the non-profit sector through his volunteer work serving on the Board of Directors for a local charity.
Director, Analytics, McLean & Company
As Director, Analytics within McLean & Company, Nadia’s role is to help collect, analyze and draw insights from all relevant HR diagnostic data for both clients and research projects. She thrives on completing problem solving tasks and undertaking intricate data analyses.
Through her work with McLean & Company and graduate research, Nadia has obtained experience working with a multitude of different data types and analytical techniques. In particular, her thesis work consisted of developing predictive models for use with individual-level data (microdata).
Nadia earned her PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Guelph. Prior to her PhD she completed an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, also at the University of Guelph.
