  • Tamara joined APS in March 2011 in the Human Resources department and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2013. She has over 30 years of progressive management experience and has worked in all facets of human resources. Tamara has an MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University.

 

Shari VanCuren Wood

SVP and Chief Administrative Officer, American Equity

  • Shari Wood is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company®. As an executive team member, Shari is responsible for managing the administrative functions of the company, including strategic oversight of human resources, marketing, facilities, community affairs and charitable giving and external communications. She is also a board member of Junior Achievement.
