CHRO Panel: Making Sense of Generations in the Workplace

Thursday, November 16, at 1:00 PM ET | 10:00 AM PT

Webinar Summary

We’ve all heard the stereotypes associated with each generational group, whether it’s the rigid and technologically inept boomers to the lazy and avocado-toast-loving millennials. The attention on generations isn’t going away anytime soon. However, the way organizations think about generations when developing policies and making business decisions is often harmful instead of helpful and can result in bias, prejudice, and unequal treatment.

Join us for this informative panel as we explore what HR should focus on and how HR can use generations as a lens to initiate conversations and create more inclusive workplaces.

Join our panelists for an in-depth discussion on:

  • Generational differences as a concept and why talking about them is so popular.
  • Potential risks and implications associated with improper application of generations in the workplace.
  • Approaches to navigate and manage these beliefs in the organizational context.
