Katrina McFadden

Chief People Officer, Organigram Inc

  • Ms. McFadden is an experienced Human Resources executive who has worked across several industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, and consumer goods. Throughout her more than 20 year career she has worked with organizations such as ArcelorMittal, Telus, and most recently Weston Foods, helping these organizations earn accolades for innovative programs focused on being top employers.

  • As an authentic leader with an established history of shifting culture and driving transformation, she is a driving force behind the success of her business partners. Ms. McFadden holds a Bachelors of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo as well as a Masters of Business Administration from McMaster University.

 

Pat Richards

Chief Human Resources Officer, Voyant Beauty

  • Pat Richards joined Voyant Beauty in July 2022 as Vice President of Organizational Development (OD) and assumed the Chief Human Resources Officer role in January 2024. Before joining Voyant, Pat served ten years at the $4 billion Hearthside Food Solutions as Vice President of Organizational Development and Recruitment. Prior to that, Pat worked with and led HR teams at leading food companies, including Quaker Oats.

  • As a hands-on professional and strategic thinker, Pat has led OD projects from the executive suite to the plant floor. By combining a strategic mindset, tailored development programs, and grounded assessment tools, Pat has enabled organizations to identify and develop the leadership potential of their human capital.

  • Her OD curricula and materials have become industry standards, used by leading companies and trade associations. As the managing partner of PPR Consulting, an OD consulting practice, Pat has also advised many leading food and CPG companies on OD programs, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Pat is a noted speaker, trainer, coach, and educator. She has taught at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies and has served as both an instructor and executive coach at Loyola’s Quinlan school of business.

Susanna Rothfuchs

  • Susanna Rothfuchs brings over 30 years of experience in HR to the Executive Advisor role at McLean & Company, where she supports and guides HR leaders to map out their HR strategy and prioritize HR initiatives that will have a measurable impact on their businesses.

  • Susanna brings together executive, consultant, and practitioner roles and has led both generalist and specialist HR teams in organizations ranging from 65 to over 70,000 employees across a number of industries including financial services, technology, and marketing communications and advertising. She is passionate about talent and the impact people have on organizations. She is a talent strategist, trusted advisor and coach to leaders who want to maximize their leadership and HR impacts. Susanna believes in the importance of talent to help drive business results and meet goals. From strategy to project delivery, she looks for opportunities to increase organizational performance through improved HR and organizational development practices. She loves learning and helping others achieve their potential.

  • Susanna holds a Bachelor of Commerce from York University, and a Master of Education with a specialization in workplace learning and change from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) faculty of the University of Toronto. She holds a Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

 

Stacey Shepherd

Executive Counselor, HR Executive Services, McLean & Company

  • Stacey is a sought-after, trusted HR advisor to senior leaders with over 30 years’ experience working with both public and private sector employers, helping organizations navigate complex business transformations and successfully manage through change. With extensive experience coaching and guiding leaders to successfully execute on their strategic agendas, she operates with integrity, authenticity, and a keen sense of humor.

  • Prior to joining McLean & Company as an Executive Counselor, Stacey held senior HR leadership roles across many diverse industries, including newspaper and magazine publishing, financial services, law enforcement, and municipal government.

  • She brings a passion for elevating the HR function and team and has specific experience in leading and influencing HR modernization and transformation programs across businesses, positioning HR as a true strategic business partner.

  • Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago.
