Lori Bishop

  • As an award-winning human resources executive with over 25 years of experience in consumer goods, healthcare, global research, manufacturing, and Fortune 500 environments, Lori brings a strong reputation for championing organizational transformations, revitalizing cultures, and catapulting staff performance.

  • Considered a forward-thinking and approachable mentor and consultant, she enjoys coaching leaders and fostering employee growth. She is a resourceful and positive HR business partner and a true collaborator who builds strong relationships, facilitates successful strategic plans with superlative execution, innovates all areas of traditional HR to address chronic business, solves leadership and engagement challenges while leading high-performing, empowered teams.

  • She holds a BA in English from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from Amberton University in addition to HR certifications. Simply put, she is the unHRPeoplesChamp!

 

Allison Dell

Senior Vice President, People and Culture, SOCAN

  • Allison Dell is a seasoned Human Resources executive with over 20 years’ experience in talent, organizational development and change management. Currently the Senior Vice President, People and Culture at SOCAN, Allison oversees the ‘people’ strategy, as well as the Company's employee experience, talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, culture and change portfolios. A champion for inclusion and belonging, Dell also spearheads SOCAN’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism efforts. As a leadership coach, she’s known for building high performing teams based on the belief that a people-centred business strategy and a strong company culture are the underpinnings of any successful organization. 

  • She lives in Toronto with her husband, two children, their two cats and a dog. When she is not at work or spending time with her family, Allison is instructing at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies to help foster and mentor the next generation of HR leaders.

 

Krista Pell

Chief People, Culture and Engagement Officer, AIMCo

  • Krista has over 20 years of Human Resources experience across multiple industries including finance, energy and client services. She was most recently Vice-President of Human Resources at Cenovus Energy, responsible for leading the Human Resources team that delivered the Cenovus Human Resources strategy, including the people and culture integration of Cenovus and Husky Energy. Prior to that, Krista was the Vice-President of People and Performance at Ausenco, a global engineering, procurement, construction management and operations service provider to the energy and resources sector.

  • Krista is passionate about developing a talent organization that is focused on client service, represents a diverse approach to innovation and excellence and has a strong culture of inclusion and trust. She has led global Human Resources teams in multiple companies with headquarters in Canada, the Cayman Islands and Australia. She is recognized for her ability to positively lead diverse and complex organizations with both strategic and operational solutions on all people and organizational matters.

Sharon R. Grant

Executive Advisor, McLean & Company

  • Sharon brings over 25 years of experience in full-cycle HR, talent management, business operations, and technical proficiency to her role as Executive Advisor at McLean & Company. Her leadership roles span both the public and private sector in the Technology, Utilities, Financial/Banking, and Non-Profit industries.

  • Sharon is a strategic HR business partner with proven ability to drive change and empower global cross-functional team success in competitive markets. She is passionate about championing diverse employee-centric workplaces for employee and workforce engagement, wellness, and recognition.

  • Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, University of Massachusetts at Boston, and a Master of Business Administration, from the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. She holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and SHRM-SCP designations. In addition, she holds a HR Management Certificate and other various certifications such as MBTI, DiSC, and Hogan Behavioral Assessment.

Karen Mann

Senior Vice President, HR Research, Learning & Advisory Services, McLean & Company

  • Karen Mann is the Senior Vice President of HR Research, Learning Solutions & Advisory Services at McLean & Company. She leads teams dedicated to supporting our clients in achieving their HR and organizational objectives through evidence-based HR and Learning & Development publications, advisory calls, leadership coaching, training program facilitation, focus groups, and group-process facilitation (workshops). A results-driven HR professional, Karen has a passion for making a difference. As a collaborative leader and big-picture thinker, she has a proven ability to operationalize programs and initiatives and stay focused on making work matter.

  • Karen brings a wealth of expertise to McLean & Company and its members, with almost three decades of HR experience in national and multi-national corporations in the technology, telecommunication, business-to-business services, and retail industries. She also gained exposure to the nonprofit sector as a member of the Board of Directors for a regional agency.

  • Karen earned her MSc in International Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Manchester Business School in the UK. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Chartered MCIPD), holds the Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designation, and is a Certified Coach Practitioner.
